Concho river banks are stunning
This river walk, and the visitor's center are so beautiful. There were many places to sit and enjoy the view, art installations, birds, trees, flowers, even living bamboo. Absolutely gorgeous.

Beautiful!
This is a very well maintained park with different venues along the river. It is great for a family walk or run, and has plenty of shade for the heat. The Kids Kingdom outdoor play area is large and is a great stop for kids. Very different from the historic downtown streets.

Beautiful Walk
For some scenic exercising around town, the Concho River Walk is the place to do a little bit of walking, jogging, or even hiking. It's a few minutes walking distance from the hotel I stayed at on business, the Econo Lodge San Angelo, which just re-opened under a new management and renovations. I took the hotel's complimentary hot breakfast and coffee to go with me on the river walk and enjoyed a nice scenic breakfast that morning.
