WWII Aircraft to touch, see, and ride in.
This local squadron offers several WWII aircraft to touch, see and take a ride in if you want. Also has a small but very interesting museum. Well worth a visit. No admission fee but donations keep them flying.

Authentic and educational!!!
Took our 7 and 12 year olds. They LOVED seeing real WWII planes up close and even sitting in a couple. The former service members that staff it on the weekends have so much history to share! Wish we had timed it to be there when the lady that actually built the museum was there. We heard she knew the history of all the artifacts. We will be following them to go back when events take place!!!

Nice, small museum.
Stopped by before visiting another museum on the other side of the air field. They have seven aircraft, and a few are in the process of being restored. To the side of the hangar, there is a room that holds the museum. Aircraft models, military uniforms, newspaper clippings, and aircraft equipment are on display. I believe it is only open on Saturdays. Worth a visit if in the area.
