Great place for Families

This is a small aquatic center in Irving. The price is $3.00 for adults and $1.50 for children. The place is clean and well kept. There are many lifeguards so children are always in good hands.

    Small but good
If you don't want to go outside the state or too far or dont know what else to do on a boring sunny day then this is the place for you. Its a small area with slides, a long water tunnel and a separate area for kids. They have a small food stall serving mostly ice creams and some hot dogs. They adhere to strict swim wear dress code. If you don't follow them, the lifeguards will tell you at your face that you cannot be in the water. The fees are really cheap but charges are higher for non residents. Just be beware the lifeguards are not friendly and have no sentiments.

    Nice facilities; unpleasant lifeguards
My family likes this pool. The kids love the children's areas. However, there seems to be a constant stream of whistles coming from the lifeguards for even the smallest perception of an infraction of their many rules. At least one lifeguard doesn't seem to know the difference between a child who is running unsafely and a toddler with a bounce in his step. As an adult, I feel I should be treated with more respect than to be tweeted at and yelled at to keep my son from running when I am already going after him to slow him down. (And apparently, even running in the water is an infraction at this place.) We feel unwelcome here, and I know from reviews on several sites that others feel the same. I will choose pools that are less restrictive and where the lifeguards are more concerned with actual safety than with "catching" people breaking their many, many rules. Other pools have friendlier staff and don't have so many ridiculous rules.
