Way more than just a statue..... and rightly so.

Very impressive memorial to visit. Its like something you would see in a big city, so kudos for the effort, design, and layout.

    Great Memorial
    The memorial is very well done. It has interesting quatations from Chris that shows his passion for helping our veterans. To me that is the real importance of this memorial. The plaque on the statue talks about his military service. Good stop.

    Rest Easy
    I remembered when this place was put up and I had to work that day, and so I wasn't able to attend that ceremony. However I was able to stop by and see it after that, and one thing that strikes me every time I drive by it or stop in, is that there isn't a whole lot of people there. When you stop in you can see with your own eyes and quietness look at what Chris did for the veteran community and what he represented.
