Met the Owner at a Farmer's Market and decided to visit the place. AWESOME!!!
Enjoy your afternoons and evenings in our beautiful indoor tasting room, or sitting on our huge fire pitted patio overlooking the Olive Orchard. We offer olive oil tastings, wine, and beer all day. Make sure you stay for the gorgeous sunset in the evening, and enjoy the live music and food trucks every Saturday beginning at 5P! We are family friendly, and have lawn games available for the kids!

Olive trees as far as you can see
Who knew there were olive trees in Texas !? I didn't. It appears that Texas is a great place for them and groves are appearing around the hill country and San Antonio. This place is the closest for us so we gave them a visit, glad we did. Lots of olive oils and things made from the oil, like soaps, lip balm, etc. They have different events like wine tastings paired with meals, steak nights on Fridays, even a chuckwagon where they'll be cooking chicken and dumplings over a campfire. They are open to the public Tuesday through Sunday. They let you taste samples of olive oil, some infused with lemon or garlic and a few spicy ones like chipotle...this one sneaks up on you and I loved it.

Good Italian Food
This is a new Olive Garden that just opened up across (east of I-35 & Wolf Ranch complex). I really enjoyed the new design. Bar area was just behind check in desk. Sitting areas were nice and separated. Décoré was very nice. Everything went well, for being new. Food tasted great ! Wine was great. Ok, I understand that Olive Garden isn’t the fantastic little bistro with dishes cooked by Mamma from Italy, but it is a very good meal that you can get in almost any state at a reasonable cost and a short wait. It is much more refined and tasty food than « McDonalds », but in the same manner. McDonalds has the best fries in the world and you can get those fries anywhere they have a location. Olive Garden is similar with offering Italian dinners that are presented at a certain level of taste, quality and price. While in Japan I saw the Golden Arches and was excited to take a break from sushi and get some fries. After moving to Texas, it was really nice to see a familiar restaurant that was every bit as good as home.
