Saw the Castle!

What a beautiful home! Chip and Joanna did an astounding job on this renovation. Being able to tour the inside and the grounds was an unforgettable experience. The work the Gaines' do is top notch! Our tour guide, Sharon, was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable about all things Castle. The Castle is a must see, while you can!

    Neighborhood of Chip & Joanna's new "castle project"
    Would have never heard or known about this neighborhood except we went on a Fixer Upper/Waco tour. This neighborhood is vastly different than the majority of the neighborhoods in Waco. It has some very old, large, beautiful homes. It's also home to "The Castle", Chip & Joanna's new project. They recently acquired the property and will be renovating it. There's an article in the Jan/Feb 2020 edition of the Magnolia Journal. It's a quick stop/drive, but definitely gives you a different view of Waco. It will also be neat to be able to actually see the house before they start work and then be amazed once it's all fixed up.

    Some Fabulous Homes
    Drove through this area as part of the Brazos Fixer Upper tour. Very lovely homes and see where the neighborhood got its name. The tour took us by the mansion that Chip & Jo are developing as an event venue and putting in several million dollars for its construction.
