    Beautiful and Peaceful Retreat
We visited the Carleen Bright Arboretum in the early morning hours on our way to southeastern Texas. The spring flowers were very beautiful and fragrant. Parking is very easy, and there are wonderful paved sidewalks for strolling. We hope to return in the future to walk through the entire property, as we were short on time. This would be a wonderful place to stop with a book and relax in nature's best views and sounds (water, birds, etc.)!

    Sunday walk
I have seen the sign a hundred times but never stopped. We strolled the entire area as it was a nice sunny winter day. Although not much in bloom in winter I will come back in the Spring. Nice trails to stroll. Has potential to be a great place
