Great place to walk

Enjoyable walk to the Canadian River on an old wagon bridge. Several walkers out. Next to a very active train track. Lots of beautiful cottonwoods and other trees.

    Walkers
We live in Canadian and we walk this bridge quite a lot. The planks were replaced a few years back and are even and wonderful to stroll on. The view of the country is great while walking as well as The Canadian River you walk right over.

Interesting and very long historical bridge
This is a great stop when passing through the area. The old bridge parrallels the new highway bridge and is open to pedestrians the whole way. Each of the 21 huge metal spans has been refurbished and new planking installed. The bridge is lighted at night, and has seasonal decorations sometimes.
