Beautiful place to wade and camp!
I absolutely loved this place. We have a drought in our area, so it wasn't as pretty as it will be. There is a small lake to fish and swim in, but I'd think it was too deep for my kids. You can bring your RV as long as it's 24 ft or under, as well as tent camping. Has restrooms. A must see for anyone looking to get out into the forest.

Great Place!
We love visiting this specific camp site due to the hiking trail. It is a gorgeous area with an even more gorgeous water fall. There is a long trail that goes to the old saw mill and that is an experience all in its own! I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to go camping and hiking. The trail is long and has a lot of areas you have to hike up and down in. It is a long trail so make sure you leave early morning/afternoon. Do not venture out a few hours before dark because you don't want to be in these woods at night. Where water proof shoes, bring plenty of water, and a camera!!!!!

Kids had fun exploring
Kids had fun exploring the springs. Didnt need much to entertain them as the rocks and water enticed them to come play. My kids are 10 & 12. Fun family place. Make sure you google map for Boykin Springs Recreation center and not just Angelina National Forest, or you will be hiking for hours and hours!
