Powerful and humbling memorial
What a well thought out memorial with each detail representing the tradition, loss of life and spirit of the Aggie pride. The free booklet offered in the parking lot gives an overview of the history behind the bonfires and describes each detail of the memorial. We spent approximately an hour reading the plaques and paying our respects. There are roughly 10 free parking spaces at the entrance of the memorial. If you, like us, get turned around due to construction just keep driving towards the very large white wall that is the entrance (behind lot 51.)

Somber Memorial Well Done
If you plan to visit I would suggest reading as much as possible about this event prior to your visit. The tribute is tastefully done and it is a somber walk to the memorial area. If you are in College Station this is a nice 45 minute walking memorial.

It's extremely dusty, despite a light rain...made my eyes water a lot.
This is a powerful memorial for former students and especially those that have worked on Bonfire. I found myself choked up a couple of times. We went during the day due to bad weather the night before, but I suspect it is even more powerful at night.
