Parking is terrible
This is a very nice place; however, due to nearby construction, construction workers take up most of the parking with p/u trucks and commercial vehicles. Based upon this situation it is almost impossible to park. There were three folks fishing here one morning last week but all the parking was filled. Very sad and poor planning by city authorities.

Nice place but beware
Good free place to take the family swimming, but I suggest you only go when the river is flowing. If the water is still there is a chance you might get a leech or two.
