First rate birding experience in a birding wonderland!
We cannot say enough wonderful things about our birding trip with Lee in Big Bend!! We booked a half-day tour with him during our recent stay ... . he is patient, knowledgable, friendly and entertaining . . . . we saw a lot of excellent Texas specialities and had a darn good time doing it! We had to change meeting places at the last minute because the birding activity had shifted from the west to the east side of the park . . . . maybe an inconvenience but I see it as someone who is in tune and up-to-date on the birds in the park and knows how to adapt to where they are heading. We saw Common Black hawks, Scott's Oriole, Vermillion Flycatcher, Summer Tanager, Bell's vireo, and Mexican Jays to name a few. Lee is a font of knowledge on the environment and wildlife in general and we learned so many things! We would go with Lee again in a heartbeat and highly recommend booking a trip with him!

A true treat in the Big Bend
We spent half of a day with Lee birding in Big Bend National Park. It was a total treat - and so much more than a birding tour. Lee is so knowledgable about the plant life, the geography, and other wildlife as well. It was a delightful day - with spotting of some birds we had never seen before.

Saw So Many Things - Especially Birds!
We spent two days with Lee at Big Bend National Park in August 2019. We really lucked out with a lot of birds flying through - and Lee knew exactly where we should spend time. We saw a huge variety of places, learned a lot about the different flora and fauna - spiders, snakes, birds, cactus, etc. We highly recommend Lee - he knows the park inside and out and is a lot of fun to spend time with.
