This was a wonderful learning experience and very reasonably priced. We got to see Fort Ringgold and how this area has never been closed. It has been used by the town ever since the fort itself was not being used as it once was. It is a great example of using and not discarding a historic place. The Robert E. Lee house had lots of interesting facts and artifacts. The hospital area of the fort is now filled with information. We got to go to the Grotto and around the streets to hear the history of the area and buildings.

Great way to experience history
This trolley tour gave us an opportunity to learn about the history of Rio Grande City and Fort Ringgold. It is an amazing achievement to see how a historical site is being used every day by the people of the city. The restorations are on going but very interesting to see and learn about. We got to see The Robert E. Lee House and The Grotto of Lourdes Replica also.
