Relaxing with a view
Quiet place with a great sound system and beautiful view. Many good wines. We went two nights. One night we say a herd of deer crossing the road and also 3 jack rabbits.

Excellent Reds!
Bar Z is a wonderful little stop in your travels to Palo Duro Canyon. The veiw is gorgeous of the canyon from the tasting room, although more homes have been built since our first visit in 2009. The wine has continued to be well balanced and bold! We like reds and Monty offers several great varietals and blends. There are also whites for the other people! Plan an hour at least and check their schedule for live music. The tasting room is very modern and not your typical "Texas" decor. You will enjoy your visit, I'm sure of that!

Wine tasting at the top of Texas
We stopped here on the way to Texas Musical Drama in the Palo Duro Canyon. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I did a standard tasting. FYI:The wine is all red. Even though I prefer white, this was all delicious. I bought a bottle of the Sassy S. I would definitely recommend making a trip there.
