If you want a quiet meal, this is not the place, especially on weekends when they have live, loud music. If you ignore the music you will have a pleasant meal with great service and equally notable Mexican. We have taken one of our granddaughters there and she says this is the most authentic Mexican rice she has every had. Since she has a definite Hispanic heritage, we trust her opinion. We will sometimes stop there to order the taquitos to go (once again, to avoid the loud music). It is listed as an appetizer but is enough to make a small meal. It comes with one scoop of guac and pico on a bed of of shredded iceberg lettuce. It is a very good accompanying salad especially with their pico used as a salad dressing. On the regular menu, the beef dishes are excellent especially the bistek ranchero. It has just the right amount of heat for me and the marinade is incredible. Way too much food for a single sitting. The fajitas are a bit greasy but still excellent. You will need extra tortillas which have an upcharge, but it is still worth it. The guac is fresh and obviously homemade and the chips are hearty and don't break when you dip them in the salsa (also a bit hot but still very good) This is a nice local restaurant, friendly stall, good prices. No wonder it can get quite busy some days.

Nice people, good food.
The food quality is from good to great, depending on the order. the salsa is second is second to no one's but the chips are very thick. taste good but for some reason, thick.
