Yee Haw Brewing Co., Tennessee, United States

4.5 (179 reviews) Spent 1-2 hours Ranking #1 in Johnson City Breweries

Great Stop

We are on hockey/brewery tour of DC/VA/NC and drove through Tennessee and happened to see this place on the map. We cannot recommend this place enough. The beer and atmosphere are great, and the bartender (working Thurs lunch shift) was so incredibly nice and gave great recommendations for other breweries.

    Yee Haw Brewing Company
Our family visited Yee Haw Brewing Company while staying the night in Johnson City. The parking lot for the building is not very large but there are plenty of other parking options in the surrounding area. We stopped and ordered food at the White Duck Taco Shop within the complex. There are some tables inside and quite a few outside on a large patio area. They had large tv’s playing college football games and some arcade games. The brewery has a long bar with plenty of bartenders to assist. Also in the parking lot was an ice cream truck that had some incredible cookie sandwiches and ice cream combinations. Afterwards we walked around at Founders Park just behind the building. We left absolutely stuffed but extremely happy with our visit.

A cold night. Great beer. Great time.
It was a cold and blustery Friday night, but the atmosphere was warm and the beer and tacos were fantastic. There was a good crowd and live music and a great atmosphere. White Duck Tacos was just through the door and delivered to your table. I had the Yee Haw 80 Scotch Ale and the Pork Belly tacos and I cannot say enough about both. I have been a fan of Yee Haw for years. We had a blast and I can't wait to return. A word of caution, however, parking is pretty darned tight (especially on weekends) so be prepared to walk a bit. The combination of a dearth of parking and the popularity of all of Johnson City's downtown night life can be a little challenging.
