One of a Kind

From the 10-ton, 30-foot-high basketball that sits on top of the building to the life-like animatronic figure of Senda Berenson, "the mother of women's basketball," this will not be your typical hall of fame visit.

    Women’s Basketball Fans Must See
This is a must stop for all women’s basketball fans. This museum is a small but informative museum. All the legends of the game are represented along with an interesting history of the sport. We especially enjoyed the exhibits representing our favorite teams and the locker room video of Geno Auriemma. The movie was interesting and included many important, exciting moments in women’s basketball. We enjoyed the fun opportunity to shoot basketballs and learn to pass the ball. While we are an older couple, this would be especially fun for kids.

    Well worth a visit
This was a well done museum. The exhibits are interesting. My kids enjoyed learning about the history of women’s basketball and seeing pictures of some of their favorite players. The way the sport has changed was as interesting as seeing how sexism impacted women sports and appreciating the strides women have made over the years. The basketball hoops downstairs were a lot of fun and a real highlight. I do wish the movie was better. The history is so much richer than what the movie shares. If you are in Knoxville, this is a Museum worth checking out.
