OUTSTANDING

This lake is absolutely awesome, 102 miles of shore line. Many coves to explore, there's beaches, and camping right from the boat. We went on a Friday, and I expected it to be crowded but to my surprise it was practically empty. The young men at Lakeshore Marina were polite, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The equipment performed flawlessly and the gas was reasonable (in today's market). This was a must do for family and friends. There were just two of us on a 24' Pontoon which old have held 8+ easily. The price was exceptionally reasonable. Pack a cooler a picnic binoculars and a camera call the youngins' at Lakesore and get on it!

    Beautiful, clean lake
    We rented a pontoon boat, paddle boards, and an inner tube from Fish Springs Marina on Watauga Lake for a fun family day on Saturday, July 2. The owner and staff at Fish Springs Marina were stellar and extremely helpful. The lake was wonderful - clear, cool water and lots of space to spread out. (It did get more crowded later in the afternoon, probably due to the holiday weekend, but it was awesome in the morning.) Highly recommend!

    Great summertime place
    There are a lot of things to do at Watauga Lake but I love to go to the beach area. Off to the side of the beach area there is a group of trees that I like to string up a hammock and sway by the water. You do have to pay a couple of dollars to park but it is worth it as there are also bathroom facilities here and picnic areas.
