The Veterans' Museum, Tennessee, United States

4.5 (14 reviews) Friday: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM Spent Ranking #1 in Halls Military Museums • Military Bases & Facilities

You don't have to be a B-17 fan to love this museum

This is the very place where so many men trained to fly the B-17. The annual air show is worth the trip, but make sure you visit the museum.

My favorite small museum in the US
The Veterans' Museum is small, but beautifully organized. Exhibits include pictures and documents from the National Archives, materials from WWI through Iraq, diaries, personal and official letters, technical publications, and divisional histories,. WWI , WWII, and Korea Military vehicles, uniforms, and videos bring to life war times on the battle field and home front. Admission is free. Docents are available to guide and explain some of the exhibits.
