Beautiful place hidden away on the side of the mountain
I love spending time at the Memorial Cross in Sewanee. It's a quiet spot on the edge of the mountain where you can look off and see for miles.

GREAT PLACE FOR REFLECTION, TIME ALONE OR WITH FAMILY/FRIENDS
If you desire a place to reflect, pray, spend time alone, with a loved one, the cross is a place to visit. It is a short drive from the campus and the view of the valley is just remarkable. The grounds are nice and it is a real place of peace. Bring your camera, folding chair, and book for a quiet afternoon. Dr. Marc 1 John 4:4

Beautiful
Impressive very large cross at the end of Tennessee Street in Sewanee. The overlook just beyond the cross is one of the best views around. I recommend this for a great place to watch the sun set.
