Pleasant way to revisit history.
The self guided tour is a relaxing way to revisit the battle fields and read what happened at each stop on the tour. I enjoy doing it in early spring or early fall when the weather is mild. It always seems strange to me that so many men fought and died on such a beautiful country side. Men on both sides fought with bravery. fell maimed or dead right near where you stand as you do the tour. As a history buff I enjoyed this tour very much.

Spring HIll Battlefield
Its kind of cool knowing your standing where they once was a battle. Not only a Battle but a battle between the north and south. There really is not a lot to see, but its cool that you stood there.
