Simple Blessings General Store is a unique shopping experience featuring candies, glass bottled soft drinks, snacks, gifts, Toys, Simply Southern and other T-shirts, an assortment of kitchenware including Lodge and Rada Cutlery, local crafts, jams, honey and other food items. We also have the Lunch Bucket deli with seating offering Hot Dogs, Sandwiches, Salads, Nachos and Hand Dipped Ice Cream!

Nice little shop with a nostalgic feel and fantantistic fresh made sandwiches
We love the shop. Great layout and reasonable prices. But the highlight of a visit is the deli at the back serving one of the best handmade sandwiches I have had at a very reasonable price ($4). You can take it with you or buy chips and and a real bottled soda (RC and a Moon Pie if you want) and eat in the little table area in the back. Total for two of us with two sandwiches, large chips, pickles, a drink and a Moon Pie was $12. Many locals from downtown come here to pick up a sandwich. The day we were there the special was roast beef, turkey or ham sandwich on two huge, fresh slabs of bread. They also have a restroom which is handy. A great place to take a break when antique shopping in the center city.

Great Place
I love going to this place. You can find unique gifts and candies. It may be a hidden secret but their lunch choices are excellent and priced at a very affordable price.
