The Best Shiloh Tour and Civil War Museum Around
This small roadside museum contains the most amazing and largest collection of artifacts from the Battle of Shiloh. It is truly remarkable to go through the museum with the owner Larry DeBerry. As a direct descendant of many who lived on what became the battlefield he has uncountable stories of the battle and the people it affected. He is a certified guide of Shiloh Military Park and you should take his tour of the battlefield if possible. He has a large selection of Civil War related gifts at the museum at reasonable prices. Don't miss this experience.

    Great historical and cultural experience
We had a great experience with Larry Deberry. He was very knowledgeable and deeply immersed in the Shiloh community, its history, and its preservation. When making my reservation I mentioned I had relatives who fought in the 12 Michigan Infantry, and Larry made sure we visited all the markers on the field related to that regiment and he really personalized the visit. The others in our group were not Civil War enthusiasts, but they came away with a new appreciation for what our forefathers went through. Larry had an endless repatoire of anecdotes about the battle and history of the area, often relating to his ancestors. We can't recommend Larry enough for a great historical and cultural experience.
