Shiloh Civil War Tours, Tennessee, United States

5.0 (14 reviews) Spent Ranking #1 in Shiloh Multi-day Tours • Historical & Heritage Tours

Sure to find a good time even if not a history buff

Hal was a wonderful and energetic tour guide! We began watching the video at the visitor’s center and then drove through the area to see the high points. I esp enjoyed the ‘women’s’ statue and how Hal helped us to appreciate how the markers are shaped and their related meanings. Hal is so knowledgeable- with facts and figures that will impress any one with any level of knowledge of the Civil War. The area is so large you could spend a day here. Our tour of the area was only 2 hours bc we purposely kept it brief. There is also an eagle’s nest you should not miss. We didn’t see any eagles but we saw the nest and it was exciting nonetheless. The other welcomed recommendation is the Catfish Hotel which is really only a restaurant but a fantastic restaurant just a few mins drive down from the park. It was wonderful service, prices were excellent, and it was worth the hour wait.

A guided tour helps Shiloh come alive
The best aspect of taking a tour with David is his ability to answer any question in real-time. I had a working understanding of the major players and order of events prior to my visit. David did a great job of explaining how topographical features contributed the day's events.

    Shiloh Battlefield tour
My husband and I had a great experience with David Stewart as our own personal tour guide. I feel this is the way to get the best experience. David was very knowledgeable and made the battle come to life. He provided details and information you probably would miss if you did it own your own. David is a super nice guy, and he will not disappoint you.
