Such a beautiful laid back drive. Slower pace. This is the real Rocky Top. Once the leaves change color in the fall it’s even more beautiful.

Beautiful place
Beautiful place to visit with family or just your spouse. Great for nature lovers or for those just wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle.

great views, wild road
Get off the beaten path to experience broad vistas of the forested mountains and rolling countryside at the edge of the Appalachians. You can see for miles to the east and west; great spot for sunrise & sunset. The 7-mile road is rough & narrow, with a breathtaking cliffhanger mile where the best views open up. A Cherokee National Forest footpath (trailheads as yet hard to find) parallels that section and offers views of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and higher perspectives of the vistas seen from the road.
