Not the best, not the worst
Took my 6 year old niece. Bought our tickets and parking online before l left the hotel, there is a discount buying them online even though they charge you a $4 convenience fee. So, parking is plentiful, got there at 10am when it opened. Line moved fast for entrance. They do search your bags, so you can’t take food and drinks inside. You can take one unopened bottle of water per person. So, for 2 of us I paid almost $106 just to park and get inside. On top of paying parking and entrance, we paid $15 for a locker and then you are expected to pay for food. I wouldn’t mind buying food, however, the lines were so long and some food stations not open and 20-30 people in front of you, I gave up after not hardly moving after 20 minutes and my niece wanting to get back in the water. I get businesses have to make money, but they need to adequately staff for their guests or allow food inside. Now, it was a Saturday, and for maybe the first hour, hour and a 1/2 lines moved well. However, it was like everybody and their brother, sister, momma, daddy, aunt from Chicago and her 6 kids, decided to invade on the park. It got super crowded. Forget about the lazy river, it’s a madhouse, no organization on getting people off of it so others can get a tube or have a turn. The lifeguards do a great job, but they need more staff for lines and crowd control. We didn’t have anyone rude it was just a free for all. My niece enjoyed the wave pool, there were lots of folks, but it’s a big pool and we had fun in it with others. At one of the little splash pads, God bless the life guard, he was more like babysitting then being a lifeguard because parents were not watching or reprimanding their kids. Now, remember it was packed as well. Another nice point was by our locker area was a sunscreen dispenser. This assisted us not having to go back and forth and get it out of the locker. I will say the bathrooms have seen better days, could use updating and need to be maintained during peak times. Finally, be sure and not lock up your shoes, that concrete gets hot when your walking around in that park to different attractions. Wear some cheap flip flops, crocs, water socks or you’ll burn your tootsies.

You have to have PATIENCE and understand City Folk.
You have to understand the patrons here and be patient o accept the rude behavior you encounter and know how to teach your children about it. There are frustrating moments in this waterpark...from the long lines, the lifeguards that horseplay and push others in the lazy river, to the food, to the kids who go unsupervised and bully other children. It's a very unique place. This is more akin to a city public splash pad rather than a resort in regards to the people you encounter. The park rules are not enforced and even the staff at the restaurants come with their faults. Do not eat their ice cream, it was moldy and quite disgusting. They don't have good upkeep here so it is worrisome that you are not allowed to bring your own food and drink. If you can keep your patience, stand up for yourself and look past some of the surprising behaviors you see from grown adults, children and staff...then its not too bad of a time. Just know what you're getting into before you go and you should be fine. If you go in with the wrong mentality, you will hate it.
