    Tandem Jump From 14,000 ft
It was my first jump, but my instructor, Nate, was the epitome of professionalism and congeniality. By the time it came to jump, his instructions and encouragements had completely done away with my fears. Several members of my family came to watch, and Nate greeted and chatted with each one just as if they had been jumping too. I can't praise Nate's approach and demeanor enough. The front office, however, is a disaster. The jump takes about 30 minutes, but you will spend an hour or two standing in line at their one service window. You stand in line to tell them you have pre-paid. If you want a video, you get out of line and fill out a form on a computer, then back to the line to let them know you have completed your paperwork. If you have a question, its back in the line. Want to buy a tee shirt? Back in line. They have a great staff, but the procedure of processing would-be jumpers, etc., needs to be seriously reworked. The experience of jumping was fantastic, but the waiting in line was an unnecessary tribulation. Additionally, they keep the thermostat set at about 90 degrees to make your wait in line just that more aggravating. High marks for the instructors, but a failing grade for the front desk operation.
