Check out the trail...good for families also. There's plenty of parking near the trailhead and the store at dockside has an adequate selection if there are snacks or drinks you may have forgotten.

Checking It Out
This lake/wooded area is about 500 acres. There is a boat launch/ramp here. Rentals include canoes and kayaks. For fishing, there is a bait shop on-site, which also has a variety of food and drinks. Fishing can also be done from the banks. It's also a good place for kids, with the wildlife, campground and woodland trails.
