I have been to this visitors' center twice and received a warm welcome each time. Having moved from another state and making numerous adjustments, the service given with a smile was so appreciative! Not only did I go away with a pile of useful brochures, etc., I was given a confirmation that Columbia, TN was the best place for us to settle.

    Friendly and Helpful
    The person (I believe her name was Deane) who helped us was friendly and knowledgeable. She also had an excellent insight into the sights and attractions in Columbia. I was especially impressed with her personal knowledge of the owners of the small B and B where we stayed.

    Great Stop for Information and Area Suggestions
    We were in Columbia for Mule Days and decided to stop by the Visitor's Center for some directions and information. The ladies working that day were simply delightful. We picked up some brochures and they gave us a little history of the area. They were extremely busy preparing for the parade and other events, but took time to answer our questions and gave us great suggestions for supper later that day. We always try to stop in the local visitor center anytime we are traveling through a new town, and this one was one of the best yet!
