Pizza just like Italy

I’m surprised that there are some negative reviews about this place. We had a fantastic experience. The wine was good, the view was amazing (although a little cloudy), and the pizza tasted just like our travels through Italy. The servers were incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, not only welcoming us but our dog as well. They had dog bowls for water on the covered patio. We were comfortable even when it started to rain. I would highly recommend this winery for the wine, pizza, and incredible views. Everyone we encountered was also happy to give us some local recommendations on other “off the beaten path” activities for the remainder of our trip.

BEST PIZZA AND WINE ON THS PLANET!
I absolutely love Look Out Winery. The owner and staff treat you like family. The wines are outstanding and the pizza is second to none. We always get the House Specialty Pizza. The shrimp on this pizza is amazing. There is NEVER any grease running down your hands and dripping on your plate. The pizzas are cooked to perfection. Not only are you giving your palette a sensational treat but your eyes can’t help but to smile at the picturesque TN River and surrounding mountains. Do yourself a favor and visit Look Out Winery! Great view, not so great wines
The view is fabulous. Our waitress was great, but I did not care for the wines. They are very dry, which is not a problem, but they are also young and rough. Some of them, the whites especially, have obvious faults, acetone in the nose, and what we call hot ferment or rocket fuel taste. Of the whites, the only decent one in my opinion was the Moscato, but don't think regular Moscato. Its dry as a bone. All of the Zin blends were bad. We tossed them after one sip. Several of the reds, the Sangiovese in particular show promise and complexity, but they are very young and very rough on the palate. I almost bought a Sangiovese to lay back for 5 years and see, but my cellar is pretty full and I'm headed to SoCal next month so I'm saving my remaining space for Temecula wines. If that were my winery, I would try a malolactic ferment on the non Zin reds and bulk/ barrel age them for about 5 more years. Once the rough is aged out, they might be pretty good. id tosd anything with the Zin in it, or, as I saw one winery in Hilton Head do successfully with a sub par vintage, , turn it into wine based pepper sauce. Im not trying to be mean, and Lord knows most people in the south prefer sweet wines anyway, so this guy has an.uphill row to hoe but presenting wines with obvious faults, bad doors and incomplete ageing isn't going to help. Its back to the drawing board time in my opinion.
