Lilly Pad Hopyard Brewery, Tennessee, United States

Hippie, tiki bar with craft beer.

This is such a cool spot. Definitely off the beaten path. Feels like a hippie, tiki bar in the mountains. Lots of outdoor seating plus indoor space (no AC) with big TV. Sat with fellow fans, watched ballgame, & drank craft beer and margaritas! Food was also very good. Must go here again!

Sneaky surprise in the Tennessee hills.
Stopped by after hiking in Obed. 5 miles on trails made the family hungry. Had Nachos and the Puffin...a savory cornbread based bread pudding muffin. They were awesome. So surprised at how good these were. Also had a pint of there beer...it was good enough i got some to go. This place is a gem and sneaky good. Will be back.

Loved it - will be back MANY more times.
This is off the beaten path, but well worth seeking out. Not your typical upscale brewpub - it's a small building made from recycled materials set in the woods with a porch and a fire pit. The main attraction, the beer, is excellent, as are the people who run the brewery and the adjacent primitive campground. It's a family kind of place for friends new and old to responsibly share a pint, perhaps after a day of hiking or paddling in the nearby Obed Wild and Scenic River. Bring your own munchies if you like, and a growler to fill for enjoying at home. Great beer for only $4 a pint.
