A Great History Lesson
Our tour guide was Sue. She was very knowledgeable about the settlers and the area. Admission was $7:00 per person and you tour 4 buildings. Before you start be sure to watch the 22 minute film. The film will give you the history of the settlers and the guy who saved saved the village from ruins. Most of the buildings are original and so is the furniture. This is a place for adults, I think kids will be bored. There are a few cabins that can be rented for the night.. Some of the building's need some repairs but it is still worth seeing.

Beautiful, low-key vacation
Rugby is really lovely, particularly in the fall and spring. Take the tour, it's worth it. We stayed in Percy Cottage. Don't expect a luxury accommodation! This area really attempts to stay true to the late-1800s vibe with a few upgrades (i.e. central HVAC, wifi, electricity, etc.).
