An Amazing Local Winery!

Grinder Switch Winery has an amazing atmosphere! I've been going there for years and have been a member of their wine club for several years. They have a great selection of both sweet and dry wines available. They will allow you to try them all if you're undecided! The owners and staff are absolutely top-notch. They are always very welcoming and friendly. You will need to follow them on social media to keep up with all the wonderful events and food truck days they have there as well. If you haven’t been here, put it on your list of things to do. You won’t be disappointed. My favorite wines are the Honeysuckle Rose and Switch Red.

    Top flight Tennessee wines
On our way to Nashville from Little Rock, we found this location to add to our enormous record of winery tastings. It was stupendous! This is one of three locations for this winery--this is where their vineyards are growing. The tasting room and shop are in a log cabin where they were expanding the deck on the day of our visit. We stood at the bar and relished free tastings of all of their dry wines and their semi-sweet rosé and learned that they genuinely knew well what grapes to grow in Tennessee, and how, and what to do with them after harvest. My opinion: their chambourcin was best of all. If vineyard/wineries are for you, this one is special.

    Unexpectedly Quaint
Several reviews state “off the beaten path but worth it”. We agree. A very quaint, relaxing atmosphere. They have a list of sweet wines, and one of dry. Several of the sweet include wines with dominant fruit flavors. The hostess was very pleasant and accommodating. She was also extremely knowledgeable of the different wines. There is also a lot of wine related gift type items which makes the experience fun. We also found cheese that we had bought somewhere else and really liked it, so that was a great addition! Fifteen percent discount when purchasing a case (12 bottles). We highly recommend a stop here.
