Fresh veggies
Locally grown produce typically does not come in full swing until the middle or end of July. The weather and crop failures of local farmers affects all markets that only only local producers (we do not allow resellers) Our vendors only sell what they or their families grow or make. We open early with whats available and sometimes that may only be handmade items with a little produce such as lettuce (cool weather crops) if vendors didn't get froze out that year. We have a great bunch of vendors, but they can not all attend every single market day. Emergencies arise, farms need attending, and sometimes you just need a break from farming and selling and need a vacation with your family. It's hard work and very time consuming.

Small Small Small
Not enough vendors to call this a farmer's market, prices are typically good but not enough to pick from.

Vendor or Customer, just stay home
Whether you set up or just come to shop, prepare for the lack of cleanliness. This event is held in a barn and the odor of cow manure is very, very strong, as well as present on the "floor." Very few vendors attend, due to the lack of sales. With a lack of vendors, there is certainly a lack of customers. Most people just walk through and then leave. Not much business for a vendor, therefore not many options for a customer.
