Worth while to check out!
This fort is part of the early history of Tennessee. Well worth a visit. The Trail of Tears was near this Fort too. Lot's of history and in the city, Kingston, that was capital of Tennessee for a day!

living history
check their website for their activity schedule, but it's worth a stop, regardless. There's a small museum on-site with some history of the fort, but the highlight is the re-built portions of the fort that include part of the stockade fence, several buildings and a watchtower. And then there's the stories they tell about how the people stationed there actually lived :)
