Taking a slow drive through the old Downtown are, I stopped counting at 24 places I could visit. A walking tour of @7 or 8 short blocks, then cross the street is what I recommend. For food, you can go breakfast, lunch to dinner and a snack stop. There's weekend music at 2 locations and throw in the amphitheater for summertime events, along with a downtown Palace Theater. The architecture is worth taking time to visit...many buildings, structures and a couple interesting murals, along with building and site plaques. A military museum and military memorial Park, along with a stone museum, library and the Chamber are right there....take an hour or even half a day...plenty, plenty to see and do.

Tuesday Morning
As we were driving ,on the Interstate my wife saw a sign for Crossville and remembered that our son had stopped there because of the pharmacy with a lunch counter/soda fountain. We had to park several blocks away and had a chance to enjoy the town. Nice area with some interesting shops.

Very nice and pretty town.
Love seeing a part of our history in different places. Crossville is just that. I will be going back when I have more time. Great place to site see as well.
