Historical and it's like stepping back in time.
This church and the little community of Denmark, Tenn is one of the oldest in Tenn. You can see it as you drive into the country...lots of old cedar trees and visually you can just see what it looked like 150 years ago. I highly recommend a visit. The Britton Lane battlefield is just 4 miles down the road.

Historic church with Civil War prominence
There is a nice sized parking area next to the church or across the street at the post office. There is some information about the significance of the building. I went too late to go inside, but the exterior is still a good photo. From what I understand, there is a gentleman at the post office that can provide loads of information about it if you go during business hours.

Beautiful restored church
Lots of history in this part of West TN. Combine this with Britton Lane and Mercer nearby, or Jackson and Brownsville each about 20 miles away. They have cemetery walks, speakers, church services, all kinds of activities. Check out the website to see about upcoming events.
