Camping at the Defeated Creek campground was awesome. Such great campsites. The first loop has some sites on the water that are so spread out it feels pretty private. The marina is smallish but the people there are fun and inviting. Looks like a good place to put in a boat. The kids enjoyed the playgrounds and the place has wonderful roadways for biking. Sites 101-110 have water views and sewer hookups. We will be back. Good times.

    love cordell hull lake.
Good for skiing, and boarding, and for bringing your family or camper there to camp .You will find people you know and your kids can walk to get ice-cream at the dock. They love that part. Most people around Hartsville go Memorial day, 4th of July and Labor day. Good place for kids.
