Homeless are extremely friendly, cover photo is misleading.
Please ignore the cover photo for downtown. I find it disgusting that in this cozy Christian town, our charity stops at homeless people sleeping. God forbid they don’t sleep on the ground just so you can rest your legs. Absolutely disgusting way to treat the misfortunate. I love this downtown, if you are concerned of homeless people, they are all extremely friendly. One charged me only a dollar to hear the joke of a lifetime. This is a beautiful downtown, please remember to be compassionate of your neighbors, even those who can’t afford a roof over their head.

    Architectural Gem Going Downhill
Downtown Clarksville, TN used to be a nice place to grab a good dinner and walk around looking at the murals and cute stores. However, recently they have had an influx of homeless people, some of who are confrontational. Many are just detracting from the small town appeal of downtown. Many of them are sleeping on park benches so here is no place to sit around the courthouse that is beautiful are to see Many historic building. Franklin street is another street with historical buildings and many neat things to see, but agin encountered homeless sleeping on the benches. Again for the most part they do not bother you, but a few can become hostile.
