Drooling over cars.

This was our second stop of the day and I wish it had been the first. Wilber greeted us like we where friends and gave us a layover of the museum and said if we had any questions just to ask. Im the car lover of the group and I just really enjoyed this and was kind of surprised that it wasnt busy we had the whole building to ourselves. Which was shocking they had a awesome collection of cars. Wilber asked us to pick our favorite and vote when we left. We all have a different favorite. They do have free parking and two cars outside to look at. They also dont take credit cards just so you know ahead of time. Someone in my group was going to use one I picked up his part of the bill no big deal but might be if someone wanted to use a card. Overall I would go back to this place if I was back in town again.

Nostalgia narrated by a great tour guide
My husband and I visited the City Garage Car Museum in Greenville, TN today and it was time well spent. The museum is filled with nostalgia and cars in mint condition from the Ford Model T to the 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang Convertible (the first year the Mustang was produced). I was especially taken by the Dale Earnhardt 2001 Chevrolet Camaro Intimidator exhibit (only 82 Camaro’s in production), and our tour guide, Wilbur. Wilbur was so nice and kind and went out of his way to make us feel welcomed at the museum. Wilbur’s kind nature must be a reflection of the owner’s; great owners only hire great people. I will definitely go back to the museum again, if for nothing else but to talk with Wilbur.

We traveled 2 hours to see this muesum.
Really interesting collection of cars, very diverse. My wife, son and I all had different favorite cars. Wilber added a lot to our experience. He had stories to tell about all the cars and people that put this museum together. Instead of it just being a collection of cars he made it a collection of stories about the cars. 1970 Subaru? Not a great car, but he told the back story and added dimension even to this little car. Some cars I never thought I would see.
