A wonderful place

We played the course in early October 2016 under a blue cloudfree sky. The course was rescued a couple of years ago by David Chasteen and his good lady, and we wish them all the best. Its a cracking good course: challenging but fair. It's a real golf course

    Fun Challenging Course
    First let me preface this review with, I am not a Golfer. I am subjected to Golf basically 24 hours a day by my husband. Most of it sounds like the teacher from the Charlie Brown Special....Meh Meh MehMehMeh. With that said, I love that he loves Golf and I support him totally. I actually enjoy driving him around and experiencing new courses with him. Sunday we made the drive from Corinth, MS to Henderson for him to try Chickasaw GC out. Minus the inappropriate words he uttered a few times and the few times he threw his club across the green, we had a fantastic time. The course is challenging but this is a good thing for those who want to continue to challenge themselves and actually work on getting better. I've attached pictures of the first 9 holes. The only negative I would mention are the bathrooms on the course (NOT at the Clubhouse). I used both and was forever grateful to roll up on them, the negative, they need some attention. Just someone taking a broom and knocking the spiderwebs down would be nice. If you haven't had the chance to play this course you need to give it a shot.

    Great layout horrible members
    This course layout is 90% perfect. Challenging holes decent green speeds. We got stuck behind a group of six I could not believe my eyes. The clubhouse staff are very friendly but this course definitely needs a couple marshals to regulate play and teach members golf etiquette ,overall a decent experience. I would recommend it to everyone as long as you realize the members have no concern about the golf course. The way the members drive around the greens and ON the tee boxes make this track look terrible, all the par three’s have cart tracks going down the center of the fairway.. around the greens your short game can be affected by tracks from golf carts very near to the green causing ruts and making some short shots into the green harder or actually impossible and that takes a lot of the enjoyment out of knowing the standards on a golf course. A lot of cart tracks in the fairways where people have driven through mud and made deep ruts. I do believe with some marshaling and a little bit more control of members and guests this course could be one of the best in western Tennessee..
