Nice rest stop while traveling!
Taking a tour through the old Casey Jones Museum and Railroad Depot was very interesting and was not expensive at all. While you are there make sure you take the time to get a bite to eat at the Country Store Restaurant and Gift shop/Bakery that is across the parking lot from the Museum. You should not regret it.

Very Nice and Affordable Attraction
We visited here wanting to take a trip at a distance we could drive, since we are still somewhat concerned about flying due to the pandemic. This was the first time we have been more than 40 miles from home since last November. We enjoyed the Museum and the Casey Jones home and at $5.50 per person for seniors, it was very affordable. There is a very informative film describing the life and tragic death of Casey Jones and the Museum is filled with interesting Railroad memorabilia and Jones family artifacts. You can see a replica of engine 382 and climb aboard and get a photo. Nice shops in the area to explore as well

Neat history lesson
This a neat museum to stop and see. The price was only $5.50 for seniors and $6.50 for everyone else. There was a small media center that tells the life of Casey Jones but they didn’t play the great full dead song. There is Casey’s house and a train to climb on and take pictures great gift shop
