Nice, quite and peaceful place for senior citizens to enjoy.
If you are not interested in swimming or don't have a boat, you can still enjoy the lake. There are benches and a surround porch on the main office building. It is a nice place to sit and enjoy the beauty of the lake, birds and meet friendly people. Many young people go there to swim and enjoy the beach, they are respectful and not too loud. The area is clean.

Beautiful Lake
The Carroll County 1000 Acre Lake is a beautiful Lake with 2 clean beaches and a wonderful concession stand that is open from late May until Labor Day. It has a family friendly atmosphere with beautiful views. Great for spending a day with family.

Nice place to canoe or kayak
Lake manager and staff very friendly and helpful. Showed us on map best places to park and put in with our kayaks to paddle. Lake is beautiful and water clarity is very good along with the fishing. We had a blast exploring and swinging off the bank from a rope swing.
