Great, relaxing trip for the family!
I am a lifelong Nashville resident and finally decided to take my family on a canoe trip on the scenic Harpeth River. Canoe Music City was the cheapest outfitter and provided excellent service. It helped that we went on a weekday - expect it to be busier on the weekend - but they did a great job from start to finish. And their boats are newer and have the back rests on front and back seats - that was a huge bonus! What a thrill it was for all of us to see (up close) a bald eagle - I never expected that!

Great River and Great Kayaks
I have been a couple of times now and every time I find more and more to love. On the last trip we found a waterfall! The path is on the left and about an hour and a half in. You'll hear it before you see it. The benefit is that the Kayaks are really sturdy and make it moderately difficult to get over. This comes in particularly useful as the water can get a little low. If you want to have the best possible experience make sure it has rained recently or check the water levels before going!
