Come for the River, enjoy the hospitalty
We rented a cabin at the Tennessee River Gorge Island which included either a canoe or two kyaks for the length of our stay. The staff was most congenial. We prefer the solitude of the Nickajack lake for fishing. This is a great opportunity for family to be together, enjoy wholesome fun, and appreciate wildlife.

Great river escape close to Chattanooga
Billy, the owner of Tennessee River Gorge Island Cabin at the same location, also welcomes day visitors on his property to come rent his kayaks or canoes and/or just spend a relaxing day at the river. The boats are nice, rental prices are very affordable, the river is winding and mellow, the dock is sunny, the shore is shady, and Billy is a wisecrack... You can paddle as far as you want, but you are expected to come back to the same location (i.e. there is no shuttle up or down the river). There is a picnic table and basic toilet/changing room facility, yet if you need anything else, I am sure Billy will find a way to help you.

It was a Blast!
My friends and I had a blast! We rented a pontoon and had an incredible day! Lebron and Chuck were so helpful which made our day go smooth,easy and FUN!!!It was a great price for a whole day. We’re already making plans to come back!!! I highly recommend ❤️
