Take Advantage of the Closed to Traffic - Wed & Sat Mornings
We enjoyed the early morning ride on Sat 8/8 without any car traffic. You need to get to the bike shop by 6:30 / 6:45 am. They only have about 140 bikes for rent and it's busy. The Bike Shop is so fair that if you return the bikes earlier than you anticipated they will refund some of fee. We rented the bikes for 2 hours and we returned them after 1.5 hours. The ride is about 11 hilly miles and can be challenge but it's fun. We saw a young bear just off the path.

Excellent Wed, bike ride with no cars
The store had great bike rentals. It wasnt busy but we got there by 7 as we wanted to enjoy the bike ride before cars were allowed in. The ride was great but a lot of hills, this would be hard for novice bike riders or those out of shape. Saw deer, bear, and great views. Ride around the loop took a bit over 2 hours. They only charged us for 2, at $7.50 and hour glad we didnt bring our own bikes.
