Solid selections, historic space, friendly and smart people.
Lauren and Ben worked the bar when we visited, and we were stoked to learn the place was a preserved 3rd-Shift bar from the last generation, replete to the stools and framed photographs of the old locals who inhabited the space after grueling shifts in the factories and rail yards of yesterday. They have food trucks at times, and classic rotation of regional brews on tap. Love this place.

Dog Friendly Bar with Food Truck
We had dinner and drinks at Atlantic Ale House while visiting Johnson City. They don't serve food so Alex was allowed inside and there is great outdoor seating with nice views of downtown. We got pizza from the food truck and ate outside while having a few drinks. Staff were very friendly and they have a nice selection of local beers. Great place to hang out and drink and get something to eat from the food truck and very dog friendly.

Great local hidden Craft brew gem
Parking is limited but nearby street parking. This is a great place for couples, singles, or friends to chill. Love the generousity of staff, small feeling, and excellent variety of local Craft Beer selection!! Also there's usually a food Truck outside too. Definitely great to visit, and "where the locals go".
