Great Experience!
What a great experience! Leah, my tour guide made sure everyone in the group had fun! Some of us got to crawl in the caverns and others got extra time for pictures. We had a small group that was friendly and enthusiastic and Leah took us on a delightfully slow journey back into history and into the depths of the earth! She is extremely knowledgable and engaging, and I decided to go to Appalachian Caverns instead of a different cavern that is more commercial and so happy that I came here! Family owned and operated and lots and lots of great gems and crystals for sale at the best prices I have ever seen. Good signage and good google maps directions made it easy to find, always a plus when traveling!

Epic adventure
My family and I had the pleasure of visiting the caves Wednesday August 5. The staff couldn’t have been kinder or friendlier. Special thanks to Sean (sp?) above ground and Roger in the cave. From my 8 year old daughter to her grandmother, we enjoyed the walking tour so much we sent the teenage crew back the following day for the wild adventure. It was one of the most memorable experiences of their lives let alone our vacation. I could write a book from all I learned about the caves and the history. The tour completely changed my perception of the lifecycle of a cave and the effects of the environment around it. Absolutely awesome. Looking forward to going back.
