Amish Heritage Wagon Tours-2 flags on the welcome center

We're Amish Heritage Welcome Center and Museum, and we've been an Amish museum and wagon tour service here in Ethridge, TN, since 2012. The Amish Heritage Farm Museum was one of the first Amish farms settled in Tennessee in 1944, when the Amish migrated from Ohio and Mississippi. It was a fully functioning Amish farm, until several years ago, when the family sold the farm and moved further out into the country. Today, due to the generosity of a local Amish family, both the Amish House and Dawdi Haus have been restored back to their original state, complete with period furnishings and artifacts from the 1944 era. A replica one room Amish school house was also added to the grounds and has been set up to accurately depict a local Amish school house. Our guided, educational tours offer a rare glimpse into Amish culture, and their daily lives. We offer tours, museums, a hen house with animals and authentic buggy rides.

Amish Welcome Center 2 Flags on Top
We did the Ultimate tour and it was great!! The lady at the Welcome Center Sandi was really nice. The wagon driver Steven is the best!! He was really knowledgeable about the Amish, made the ride fun and even let the kids drive!! Stacey the tour guide was great!!! She was as very knowledgeable, she answered all the questions and she is great with kids!! Stacey showed the kids were to feed the ducks, let them pet the horses, showed them all the other animals and then let them swing on the swing at the Amish house!! This really is a must see!! We go every year and have always went across the street but there not friendly and don't have the Amish farm and the kids din't like their wagon rides because they were mean to there horses and not very friendly. Make sure to ask for Steven and Stacey!!

I can say it's "Just Okay"
We were somewhat disappointed when we arrived, very commercialized. The Welcome Center had a few items made by the Amish for sale, and were average priced. The Amish do not operate these stores, but has wagon rides that take you around, but can also drive. The lady who was at the cashier was nice and polite, but quite what I was expecting. Several things to do here also, flea market, wagon rides, and the Amish community, which can also be driven to if you are looking for a specific item. But was really just okay.
