Most fun you can have in the woods with your clothes on

We were on a roadtrip passing through Nashville and saw signs for zip-lining from the highway, which we followed with trepidation. Arrived at Adventureworks and Michael managed to fit us in between a couple of groups which was great as this was the only time we could have done it. The zip lining was obviously epic fun, but Michael was an absolute legend and the time I wasn't flying through the air I spent crying with laughter. Thank you for an epic afternoon!

    Great Place, Great Time!
I am afraid of heights - so this was a little scary to me, but I braved it out on the request of my husband. I believe our tour guide's name was Kevin - he was very patient with me as I tried to manipulate my way out of jumping on a couple of occasions. Kevin was awesome, and we ended up having a great time! I did every single zip line on the tour! We had a great time and would definitely recommend it to others!

Poor office practice and policies, but an awesome experience on-site!
First, the positive: For around $50, the price was right, and Keith and the other guides are outstanding folks -- enthusiastic, friendly, and very patient with newbies. Expect nothing less than a fun time in the great outdoors that will make you yearn to come back and try the other courses they offer! One unexpected perk I found was that bathrooms and water are supplied at the location, and everyone gets a chance to take advantage of them before the tour, so you don't have to worry pulling over on your journey there. Now, the negative: AdventureWorks has a policy of not allowing a change of your reservation in the 7 days leading up to it. Tennessee weather is unpredictable between seasons. Temperatures and rain percentages can change from day to day. Sure, zipping in the cold rain can add to the adventure, but if EVERY OTHER DAY OF THE WEEK has openings, why not let your customers switch to a day when the weather would be more agreeable? Couple that with a NO REFUND policy, and you're pretty much at their and nature's mercy. I believe the policy is there to keep the most people booked at a time so the guides aren't spread thin on other days. I totally get that!!! But 3 or 4 days beforehand would be much more reasonable. Finally: There is a woman that I've been on the phone with 3 times who I believe handles all the appointments. I messed up my reservation online and had to change the date and time. My bad! That was two calls. I also had some questions about booking and weather. No ranting, just questions. That was the third. EACH TIME, she answered my phone greeting by practically snorting before asking for my information (as if I was wasting her time), and was BEYOND firm when it came to asking about the policies I mentioned before. To her credit, she changed my reservation both times, and I understand that rules are rules. But I thought I framed my responses in a very polite and non-confrontational way, and I was met with nothing but attitude. My advice: Go for it! It rocks. Book in the summer when there's no chance of cold or rain. Book online and get it right the first time, or... DON'T call their main office expecting to speak to someone who wants to help you.
